NEWS:
New Bishop of Richborough and Bishop of Ebbsfleet
On behalf of the Lincoln Council of Forward in Faith and all Lincoln members and associates we are delighted with the announcement of Fr Norman Banks SSC as the new Bishop of Richborough. Many of our clergy have met him at Walsingham- either as pilgrims or at the Chrism Mass each year and we look forward to welcoming him soon to our parishes.
With the appointment of Fr Jonathan Baker SSC as the new Bishop of Ebbsfleet as well, it is good that Traditionalists in the Province of Canterbury will have the leadership they need in the testing times ahead. Our prayers will be with him as he prepares for his ordination as Bishop on June 16th in Southwark Cathedral. We both plan to be there and hope other clergy and laity may be able to join us.
