Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament
The Sacred Heart Ward - Diocese of Lincoln

The oldest devotional society in the Church of England for Priests and Laity founded 1862.

The Objectives:

The Confraternity exists for the advancement of the catholic faith in the Anglican Tradition and in particular to promote:

The honour due to Jesus Christ our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament of his body and blood.

Pray for one another at the Eucharist.

Careful preparation for and reception of Holy Communion, including the Eucharistic fast.

The reverent and dignified celebration of the Eucharist and the reservation and veneration of the Blessed Sacrament

The continuance of the catholic priesthood, and

Catholic theological teaching, learning and development.

We meet once a year in the octave of Corpus Christi for our Annual General Meeting, and occasionally at other times as advertised.

CBS Discernment  Process Meeting.

Wednesday 25th January 2012. 7.00pm at S. Nicholas’ Skirbeck.
Mass followed by Meeting for  all CBS Associates of the Ward & District.
The Secretary-General Fr Christopher Pearson hopes to be present or  if nor another member of the Advisory Panel will deputise for him.
